Privacy Policy

Your trust matters. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

Effective Date: February 18, 2026 · Last Updated: February 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how CreatorScore, Inc. (“CreatorScore,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information when you access or use the CreatorScore website located at creatorscore.io, our dashboards, embeddable widgets, APIs, browser extensions, and any related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and our role as an AI-powered brand-suitability and professional trust analytics platform for creators, brands, and agencies.

1. Who We Are

CreatorScore, Inc. is a Delaware corporation that operates an AI-powered brand-suitability, reputation intelligence, and professional trust analytics platform.

For data collected through the Services, CreatorScore generally acts as an independent data controller. For certain brand and agency clients, CreatorScore may also act as a processor or service provider under applicable data protection laws, processing data on behalf of such clients pursuant to contractual instructions.

Privacy inquiries: [email protected]

2. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to personal information we process when you: (a) visit or use our website, dashboards, or widgets; (b) create or access a CreatorScore account; (c) connect a social-media or professional networking account (such as LinkedIn) via OAuth or other authorized mechanisms; or (d) interact with CreatorScore as a brand, agency, or enterprise customer.

This Policy does not apply to third-party platforms (such as LinkedIn or other social-media services) or websites that we do not control. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which we strongly encourage you to review.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Publicly Available Creator Content

We analyze publicly available information about creators from social and professional platforms including, where applicable, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), Twitch, LinkedIn, and others.

This may include public posts, captions, comments, engagement metrics, follower or connection counts, profile bios, public profile photos, public media thumbnails, and other publicly visible account data.

3.2 Data Obtained via Authorized Platform Integrations

When a creator or user explicitly opts in to connect a social-media or professional account (including LinkedIn) to CreatorScore via OAuth or similar authorized flows, we may receive additional data within the scope of the permissions granted by the user and the platform.

Depending on the platform and permissions granted, this may include: audience demographics, private or non-public engagement metrics, historical performance data, post and content metadata, and other analytics data authorized via the platform’s API.

3.3 Account, Usage, and Communication Data

We may collect account registration information (such as name, email address, role, company, and authentication credentials), in-product settings and preferences, log and usage data (such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, and actions taken within our Services), and communication data (such as support requests, email correspondence, or feedback).

3.4 Brand, Agency, and Enterprise Customer Data

For brand, agency, and enterprise customers, we may process business contact information, account configuration data, contractual details, billing and invoicing information, and audit logs reflecting user access and actions within customer accounts.

3.5 Aggregated and Anonymized Data

We may create aggregated or anonymized datasets derived from personal information.

Aggregated and anonymized data is not used to identify individuals and may be retained or used for analytics, benchmarking, and product improvement indefinitely, subject to applicable law.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Services, including generating brand-suitability and professional trust analytics for authenticated users and authorized brand partners.
  • To calculate CreatorScores and other brand-suitability indicators that reflect content safety patterns, sentiment signals, and community-health indicators, without replicating LinkedIn’s or any platform’s native reputation systems.
  • To provide dashboards, reports, alerts, and insights to creators, brands, agencies, and other authorized users in accordance with their account settings and contracts.
  • To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Services (including detecting, preventing, and responding to security incidents and abuse).
  • To communicate with you about your account, respond to inquiries, provide customer support, and send transactional or service-related messages.
  • To comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect the rights, property, and safety of CreatorScore, our users, and the public.

5. Platform Data Compliance

5.1 General Platform Compliance Statement

We are committed to complying with the applicable developer terms, platform policies, and data protection requirements of each platform from which we access data, including LinkedIn.

We only access data from such platforms through authorized mechanisms (such as OAuth and official APIs) and within the scopes that users have expressly granted and that the platform permits.

5.2 LinkedIn Platform Data Compliance

When CreatorScore processes data originating from LinkedIn, we adhere to the following commitments designed to align with LinkedIn’s API Terms of Use and privacy expectations:

  • We access LinkedIn data solely through authorized LinkedIn APIs and user-granted OAuth permissions; we do not request LinkedIn usernames or passwords or use unofficial methods of access.
  • We comply with LinkedIn’s API Terms of Use, Developer Policies, and applicable LinkedIn platform rules when requesting, storing, and using LinkedIn data.
  • We do not scrape LinkedIn or circumvent LinkedIn’s technical access controls, automation safeguards, or rate limits.
  • We request and use only the minimum LinkedIn data that is reasonably necessary to provide CreatorScore Services to the authenticated user or their authorized brand or agency partners.
  • We do not publicly rank, score, or index LinkedIn members, and we do not attempt to replace LinkedIn’s own reputation, trust, or safety systems.
  • LinkedIn-derived data is used exclusively to provide brand-suitability and professional trust insights to: (a) the LinkedIn member who authenticated via OAuth, or (b) brands and agencies with whom that member has a contractual or explicit relationship and who are given access under account-level permissions.
  • We do not sell LinkedIn personal data and do not use LinkedIn data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
  • We do not use LinkedIn personal data to build or enrich third-party profiles unrelated to the Services or to provide data brokerage services.
  • Platform-derived data from LinkedIn is not used to train general-purpose AI models; where used for model improvement, it is de-identified and aggregated in accordance with applicable law and platform terms.

5.3 Data Retention and Revocation for Platform Data

Users may revoke CreatorScore’s access to their LinkedIn (or other platform) account at any time via the platform’s settings or within CreatorScore where supported.

Upon revocation or account disconnection, we delete or irreversibly de-identify associated LinkedIn-derived personal data within a commercially reasonable period, except where retention is required by law, necessary to enforce our terms, or required to maintain security, fraud prevention, or audit logs.

5.4 No Automation of Platform Behavior

CreatorScore does not automate user behavior on LinkedIn (such as auto-posting, auto-messaging, auto-connecting, auto-liking, or similar actions) and does not provide tools to circumvent LinkedIn’s user interface or automation restrictions.

Any content or actions that occur on LinkedIn remain under the control of the LinkedIn user and are subject to LinkedIn’s terms and policies.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use strictly necessary, functional, and analytics cookies to operate and improve the Services, understand usage patterns, and enhance user experience.

We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral tracking technologies for interest-based advertising across third-party websites.

You may manage cookies through your browser settings, which may limit certain functionalities of the Services.

7. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information and do not sell LinkedIn data.

We may share personal information in the following limited circumstances:

  • With service providers and vendors that perform services on our behalf (such as hosting, security, analytics, and customer support) under contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations.
  • With brand, agency, and enterprise customers, where necessary to deliver the Services and subject to account-level permissions, contracts, and applicable law.
  • With our professional advisors (such as lawyers, auditors, and insurers) as necessary to provide their services.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or a portion of our business, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
  • As required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CreatorScore, our users, or the public.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce our agreements.

Platform-derived data (such as LinkedIn data) is retained only for so long as is necessary to provide the Services to the authenticated user or authorized brand partner and is deleted or de-identified upon revocation of access or termination of the relevant account, subject to legal or contractual retention obligations.

Aggregated or anonymized data that does not identify individuals may be retained indefinitely.

9. Security

We implement reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, logging, and regular security reviews.

While we work hard to protect information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you identify a potential security issue, please contact us at [email protected].

10. International Data Transfers

CreatorScore is based in the United States, and personal information may be processed in the United States and other jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

Where required by law, we implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms, and ensure that recipients provide an adequate level of protection.

11. Your Privacy Rights

11.1 General Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information, and to receive a copy of your data in a portable format, subject to applicable law.

You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.

11.2 California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and related laws, including rights to know, delete, correct, and (where applicable) opt out of certain “sales” or “sharing” of personal information.

CreatorScore does not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA and does not sell or share LinkedIn personal data.

11.3 Exercising Your Rights

To exercise your rights, please contact us at [email protected] and indicate the nature of your request, your relationship with CreatorScore, and any relevant account identifiers.

We will respond to your request within the timeframe required by applicable law and may request additional information to verify your identity.

12. LinkedIn-Specific Disclosures

CreatorScore is an independent third-party application and is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with LinkedIn Corporation.

LinkedIn data accessed through our Services remains subject to LinkedIn’s own terms and privacy policy, and LinkedIn members can manage their LinkedIn privacy settings and permissions directly within LinkedIn.

We do not describe or market our Services as “scoring LinkedIn users,” “ranking LinkedIn professionals,” or operating a “public reputation index” for LinkedIn. Instead, CreatorScore provides brand-suitability insights and professional trust analytics as authenticated tools for creators and authorized brand partners.

13. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

If we become aware that a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information as required by law.

14. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services that we do not control, including social-media and professional platforms such as LinkedIn.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies and terms before providing them with personal information.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or the Services.

When we make material changes, we will provide notice, such as by posting a prominent notice in the Services, updating the “Effective Date” above, or sending you an email where appropriate.
