Score or background check: which do I need?

A score is a recent-window trust number you can monitor over time; a background check is a one-time full-history inspection with no number.

CreatorScore

A 1–100 trust score built from the creator's recent content across every account, refreshed monthly, with optional daily monitoring and alerts. Use it to compare creators, set a bar for a campaign, and watch for changes while you work together.

Social Background Check

A one-time scan of the creator's entire public history — years back, including deleted content we can recover — sorted into brand-safety categories with the posts and transcripts behind each finding. No number. Use it before signing a contract, for a big-ticket partnership, or when a creator's past matters more than their present.

Rule of thumb

  • Choosing between ten creators for a campaign → scores.
  • About to sign one creator for a long or high-value deal → background check, then a recurring score to monitor.
  • A creator already on your roster did something in the news → look at their alerts; order a background check if you need the full history.
